Fuel Leak Under Back Seat

So I am having a problem with my 97 gsx and fuel leaking under the access panel under the back seat. I have taken the car into the shop 3 times to have the issue fixed and it only lasts about a month and then I'm back smelling gas everytime I am around the car. When I pulled the access panel, the well that was there was full of gas. I am tired of paying the shop to fix a problem that will just return in a month. Any advice? There is an after market fuel pump that is in the car, but the gas problem has existed since before I replaced the fuel pump for an entirely different issue.

perhaps they are not using a gasket or a correct gasket on the fuel pump assembly. I had the same problem until I replaced the gasket with a new one and then I was golden. I bought this from STM, only 15 bucks to boot

The gasket zero was referencing will fix your gas smell problem. The shop is probaby using rtv or bandaid. It's a simple fix.

Best advise don't go to that shop ever again! Order the gasket get a 10mm socket and Ratchet and swap it.

Don't expect others to do for you, even when paying.
And its just the seal; Available at STM when instaling make sure to tuck in the loose rubber on the sides of the seal inside the tank.
