montreal,
Hi there! I was browsing on ebay and I found that : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fuel...ewItemQQcategoryZ42604QQitemZ8067916861QQrdZ1

A fuel ionizer it is. I know that when it is too good to be true, it is most of the time fake but what about this thing.

I don't want to start an opinion war but i'd prefer proof like dyno runs or dsmlink log, etc... if you have any. I don't think I'll put this on my car but I'm just curious.

I dont have any personal facts on it but I do know they tested it on Mythbusters once and all data showed it was just a scam. There was no increase in power or decrease of fuel consumption.
Well at least there is another Mythbuster watcher besides myself in here. They tested all kinds of "gas savers" on fi and carburated cars and absolutely nothing worked.

Yup, and even if they did work. Manufactuers would be putting those suckers on all their new cars, to increase their MPG ratings. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. I've found the best gas saver is to drive nicely, and set the cruise. If I drive the speed limit, I can get 120 miles on a quarter tank in my AWD.

haha yeah...that cracked me up...the carb. that was supposed to get up to 300 mpg. Now come on, if you have a massive V8, and feed it only enough fuel to make it get 300 mpg, wouldnt you think that it would lean out? And that carb made the gas mileage worse by i think 2 or 3 mpg. And on the fuel additive, they didnt just get the same gas mileage, they actually got worse!!!!
