Fuel filter/oil can

Ok I know this topic has been beat to death. But I have a question that I need some help with. I ordered a cheap oil catch can which has no filter in it. It is a sealed unit with 2 ports. I only want to run the 1 hose from the valve cover to the can. Here's my question can I get a inline fuel filter put it in between the valve cover and catch can. I know that filter would collect most of the oil and would have to be changed more often but it would be some sort of filter for my can. Would this still pull vaccum from my intake? Also I cannot take this can apart to make my own filter in it. Please no one say just use the fuel filter not the can because I dont want to just have it seating around would like to put it to use.Thanks

the purpose of the oil catch can is to do just that catch oil. if yours is a sealed unit, how will you empty it once full? as for a filter to the catch can, there is no need to filter the residual oil the can receives because you are just going to dump it out anyway.

Not trying to filter the oil to the can just trying to keep it from entering my intake. I have read that some oil cans have some sort of filter in them to catch the oil so none gets in your intake, and empty cans can still have oil pass by and into the intake system. I am simply trying to keep oil from entering my intake.
