I saw some people do this and I decided to do it.
What it is,
One clear fuel filter,
connected it to hose on my intake and valve cover...
I know it restricts air flow will this make my performance decrease?

No it will not decrease performance. But the cheapest thing is to just run it to the bottom of the engine bay and let it just drain out to the ground.

it would be a good idea to just plug the intake where the hose used to be, over time it will keep performance up since you wont be gunking up your intake with sludge. ;)
