Fuel Filter for 97 eclipse GSX

So i have no idea where the oem fuel filter is and want to replace it with a new one i got. Ive looked on google but get other models and different references. So could another 97 gsx user tell me where it is exactly please?

That what it looks like. Near the passenger side, on the firewall, as the above poster mentioned.

Couldn't you have just followed the fuel rail inlet. Hose leads right to it. And please use a proper flare wrench and loosen the gittings before you loosen the mount.

+1 on flare wrench tool. They can be very tight if its never been changed before.

Make sure to use a wrench to hold the filter also, or you will twist off the line.
