Ok I know there has been much debate over the infamous 4k stutter problem. At wot at
4k everything goes to shit. I'm currently working through possibilities: timing, plug gap, etc... But fuel cut keeps popping up in so many threads. I have no boost controller and am only boosting 13 - 14 psi(on a big 16g). CAN YOU GET FUEL CUT AT STOCK BOOST?

13-14 PSI is not stock boost. Its very possible that you are hitting fuel cut with a 16G at that boost on stock fuel. Have you checked for boost leaks? Do you have a logger?

I have done a boost leak test and have fixed all the leaks. I do have a logger but am still pretty unfamiliar w/ how to use it. It is running MMCD. I can't turn the boost down. That is the pressure the wastegate opens at (no boost controller)

Are you going by the stock boost gauge? If you are its not accurate. Do you have the BCS removed? With the logger you can check your injector duty cycle. The stock wastegate opens at 9 PSI so I dont see how your getting 13-14 PSI. Theres some information you are leaving out.

autometer mechanical boost guage, BCS?, maybe the new wastegate that came w/ the turbo has a heavier spring?

BCS = boost control solenoid, its what the t'd line running from the compressor housing/wastegate goes to on the passenger side frame rail.... One of the "free upgrades" to get a little more power out of these cars is removing the restrictor inside the BCS, if it is removed you probably are running 13-14 psi.
It does sound to be a leak, at 14psi and 4k your injector duty should be nowhere near cut off. I can run one of my t25's at 15 psi & 6500k and the injector duty is 93%, im sure you know the T25 is nowhere near as efficient as your big 16g.
Log your injector duty and do another BLT..... Any CEL's by chance?

I agree with the lower seals, i made a blt to check from the tb elbow when I couldn't find a leak in the piping, sure enough, #1 injector seal was leaking.

what intercooler do you have the stock smic or a fmic, the smic isnt good to be gettign up on alot its small, so heat gets to it faster, so you cant be beating on the car with the stock smic, but check everythign you can think of. it wont hurt anything to check more things
