Front/Rear bumpers

Hi im pretty new to this forums so i just wanted to get to meet a few guys on here and see how everyone is on here, Names corkey and im currently deployed in Iraq. My whole dream is to have a very sick eagle talon tsi, So after basic training i went out and got a 1992 eagle talon tsi than ran, Since may 8th iv put 6,300$ into just the motor and very happy with it besides one thing. Iv seen a lot of guys on here with there front bumpers with the normal pop up head lights and the modern style lights as you see on all the other cars, Im pretty interested in doing the same idea just asking a retarded question so i can get the answer to do so, with out asking you get no where so any help guys? and what the prices would be on getting that project done? thanks a lot and great to be on the forums

like a few of my friends have the pop up lights and the normal lights, i was woundering wtf they did to them to have both of them on there cars. I didnt make it clear of what was trying to say which is my fault, Is it just a conversion to make them look newer or somthin or what.

I'm confused as well. Are you saying you want your 92 with composite headlights to have the pop up headlights instead? or are you saying you want to have the composites for the "modern" look but also have the pop ups? Please Clarify this for us.

I think you are confused, you cant have both pop ups and composite lights at the same time, what you CAN do however is what used to be called the "chiclet" mod, where you remove a diode or resistor (i can't remember which) in the circuit that prevents the pop ups from popping up, enabling you to have the lights on when they are down.

For you to do this you would have to, switch your hood, front bumper, corner lights, and headlights over to the 90-91 style, not worth it IMHO.

yeah im guessing they did somthing like that, i like mine how its set-up personally, My buddy here in iraq just wanted me to ask a few questions and he was curious about it and i didnt have an answer for him so, thanks for the help. Sorry for such a noob question :/. another question, Iv never had any car with fully ajustable coilovers, What would you recommend on buying, Dont matter how much they cost, the better they are the more there worth it, thanks guy
