front bumper removal

Ok I know that this topic has been beat to death and with that in mind I did preform a search regarding the topic of my subject with that in mind mods do not close this thread unless you can post a link with proof.

My problem is I need to remove me front bumper of my 2g gst to install my fmic, however all the front bumper removal threads that tell and show you how to do it have the pictures removed. I'm needing to get pics of the bolts and where they are located on the bumper in order to remove it from the car.

awwwww damn, that wouldve been useful when I did the conversion a 2nd time around on my other 95. If I knew how to remove the frame rail so the entire bumper support came out with the bumper, I wouldnt have to rip those plastic clips! DAMN IT!

I could not find that thread, and all the ones as stated by OP were down. ARGGHHH!!

Oh well.

I saw thi link along time and go and was just amazed like it was the greatest thing. lucky now that I got my car back from the body shop and my stllen bumper painted I have an old bumper support with the plactic things and everything still intack...Im excited hahah

That link is NOT in the tech section, the author should just duplicate it and upload the images on tuners just incase that site goes down, its the best 2g bumper removal faq to date. Nice clear pictures. If I ever get a 3rd chance to do the conversion, I'll be ready.

taking off the front bumer on a 2G is no problem at all. I have no pics, but its 4 main bolts holding the bumper support to the frame and removing the plastic splash guards in the wheel wells.
