Hey everyone, new here but have been lingering for a while. I just picked up a 1997 Eclipse GS and just did the front brakes. I have experience working on brakes before but have possibly ran into a issue. I replaced the master cylinder, both hoses, calipers, rotors and pads. Everything went back on smooth but I'm starting to wonder if it mattered what side those brake hoses screwed into the calipers? I haven't starting bleeding them yet but I used both new crush washers on both sides and everything like I always do. I just didn't pay any attention to the actual end of the hoses themselves when I put them on the calipers, I just picked a side and screwed them down making sure the washers crushed a little to make a seal. Is there a right or wrong side on those hoses? Like, is one beveled or anything I missed? Thank you!
