ive only owned it one month and done all the work that is done already, im about 5000 Dollars deep in this month and the car has had an AMAZING transformation!

Is this for real? Amazing transformation? F**k me.. I guess we just have to leave that to one's individual interpretation. What is the deal with the flying saucer, ufo, weird ass bumper? Do you use that ledge to set your food and drinks on at meets or something?

thats alright everyone has their preferences, i just prefer to have a car that turns heads and is NOT ANYTHING that anyone can just buy and noone will have the same exact thing as mine! i have to be original!

I suppose we all do have our own preferences. If you rolled to one of the meets we have around here, your car would definitely turn heads. Except the look on our caces would be this WTF

the 4g64 utilizes a longer stroke as well as a 10:1 compression ratio, now i know the compression ratio may be a bit higher than the 4g63 but you can port and polish the heads and what not during the build to change this.

Since when does any inline four cylinder have heads? It's head, as in single, uno, one, nothing plural about it. God I hope this thread stays open, it definitely has all the ingredients to become EPIC.

To keep this from ever happening agin I would suggest not posting statements like "my 420a would walk away from your guy's 4G63's" cause we all know you aint got boost and if you don't got boost you don't got nothin!

Just remember, most of us are four wheel drive TURBO and put down about 350-550 AWHP, a dodge neon eclipse is gonna have its work cut out for it to roll next to somethin like that.

To walk into this discussion board and bad mouth are beloved 4G was just crazy. You might as well keep that body kit installed pic of your car for your avatar and join a Honduh forum and slot up in there tellin them guys what a POS they're B series is and that your 420a would "walk away from vtec" try that and see how far it gets ya.

Glad I dont live near this guy, would hate for him to take his wrath out on my beloved 4g63 that is not superior to his powerful 420 with built heads, pistons, cranks, rods, valves, cams, exhausts, headers, throttle bodies, intake manifolds, and everything else that he has multiples of on his masterpiece of... I do believe I have a book (which features Robert Garcia of RRE) that says the 4g64 isn't a popular swap because it doesn't have much power potential. How to build Max performance Mitsubishi 4g63t engines: Chapter 8, page 125, top left corner. Yes and 4g63 is so terrible it gets its own book.

Draw out ideas. Build a vent and install it. It's custom remember.

Why so much hatred on custom cars. What ever happened to customizing cars? Why is it such a problem? Stock appearance isn't sleeper anymore. It seems accepted that "ricers" are all show, no go but stock is performance. Going overboard is goofy though. Ever see a show car with TV screens molded in the trunk or in the headrests. Might pimp out a Tahoe or a range Rover... but an eclipse? Civic? What's the point?

Also op... You can't come on a site all about a certain engine and bash it. That seemed more like you were butthurt over the criticism. Like previously mentioned, go tell a Honda guy his B or K swap sucks or a Nissan guy that his RB or SR20 sucks. They will tell you the same.

Speaking of B series, my B18b1 civic would walk my 420a eclipse any time, any day. Both had the same basic mods. What's that tell ya.

Objectively, the overwhelming majority of these attempts come out with hacked retro-fitment, crusty paint in clashing colors, irregular body lines that don't match the rest of the car, walmart wheels, giant panel gaps etc.

I am a firm believer my car I will do what I want with it. Not all of us buy a car and want to do the same thing to it. Some of us are performance oriented and some us like body kits to each is own. OP do what you want and at the end of the day do whatever is going to put a smile on your face and a feeling of accomplishment.

Note: Don't know regulations in North NY but here you wouldnt be allowed to set foot on the track with shaved door handles, SAFETY ISSUE. Good Luck with the build

say what you will, i dont care what you think of my vehicle, any engine can be great if you have the money and time to build it right, and its not an old 60s car and i will make it look one of a kind as i see fit. and if i ever blow the motor i have a 4g64 motor sitting around that i can drop in and turbo which is a much better platform than the 4g63 in yours its a shame they never made a turbo version

4G63 Hater? Just go get a damn honda, drop $10,000 into it to get to about half of the horsepower the 4G63s are making on this forum.
