Fresh rebuild .....runs rough

I am working on a freshly rebuilt 420A in a 95 talon......since the motor i built was newer, i had to reuse all the sensors so that they would plug in.

The motor will start but it runs very rough, almost like its not firing on all cylinders. It actually sounds like the original motor that was in the car, well minus the knocking....
This is the coilpack that came with the car.

I was told that the coilpack was probably bad ? Does this sound right ? Any other ideas to try if a new coilpack doesnt fix it ?

Did you check the timing, spark plug gap etc?

I gapped the plugs when i put them in, i remember doing that so we should be good there.......the timing marks on the cams seem to still line up,although i cant see the crank one. are there any timing adjustments or other ways to check the timing ?

Ok i changed the coilpack and it still runs the same...... uggggg this is frustrating, i have a small fortune into this motor ...

Any other ideas to try before it goes to the mechanic ?

Is there a way to see the timing indicator on the crank without pulling the crank pully ?
