I have a 92 eagle Talon Tsi AWD. Everything ran fine until I left the interior light on for a week straight and ruined the battery. I put a new battery in it and now the fuel pump doesn't prime when I turn the ignition. I used the connector next to the battery to test the pump and it works fine. I checked all the lines, vacuum hoses, relays and fuses. I'm pretty much out of options now. The car turns over fine, The ignition just doesn't seem to be activating the fuel pump. Any help will be appreciated. I just want to get it running so I can put it up for sale

Finally got it started. I don't know what happened just kept cranking it till it started and it cranks right up now. I tried to figure out how to remove my post but couldn't so if one of the moderators would like to take it off be my guest.

It shouldn't prime when you turn the key to run. It will only prime when you turn the key the start position or the cam sensor is being rotated.

check your fpr... otherwise, although the pump is new, it could be faulty.. check your fuel rail, fuel lines, and injector seals for leaks. Happy new year all! Pm me with any questions, i love to help!
