:dsm: i am wondering if the Aem fpr that u cut the top of ur old one off and mount it to the engine is better or worse thatn the aeromotive in-line, i personally think aeromotive would be the wisest choice but im a newb so let me know. :dsm:

LOL i already bought a 255 high pressure, cuz im upgrading to an evo III i already have it but its not on the car yet, and i plan on running over 22 lbs of boost so ... i dunno.

if your not gonna go bigger than a EVO 16G a 190lph and 660cc wold be a very nive set up for a 16G. Since you already have it i would go with a Aeromotive fuel is such a critical part of the car i wouldnt cheap out IMO :dsm:

And since you already got the 255HP in spite of my recommendation, ;) I would suggest the Aeromotive AFPR. You'll need various adapters and AN fittings, however. You can see one already installed if you come to the meet next weekend.

doug i did listen to u but the dude said thats the only 255 they had for my car either that or he was lying, i mean i didnt open it yet so i can call and get another one, because the guy i usually talk to wasnt there is was some other dude, but i just dont wanna not have enough pressure when i go to turn the boost up, so maybe i'll just downgrade to a 255 LP, im hoping ur 100% sure 255 lp with be enough for like 22 or higher boost.

If you're definitely gonna get an AFPR, it wouldn't hurt to stay with the 255HP if you can live with the noise. But I'm pretty sure even a 190 would be enough for an EVOIII 16G, even at 22 PSI. 98autogstspyder on here is another local guy that I'll introduce you to-- he has a Walbro 190 and the EVOIII turbo and is running about 19-20 PSI right now with no problems.

A 255 lp will not fix fuel pressure overun problems.

Fuel pressure overun isn't near as bad as people complain about.

First buy a fuel pressure guage and see how bad it is.

You can usually tune around overun.
