Just wondering I am going to be doing a valve spring and cam install soon. Were you able to change out the springs with the head still on the car. I imagine you just have to have the pistons at the top of the cylinder your changing so the valve cant fall in.

Definitely recommend using the rope or compressed air techniques. The rope technique really isn't that hard to do. In addition, I'm not sure how easy it would be to put everything back together if the valve wasn't in the fully closed position. You can only compress those springs so far.

I didn't install these I had a machinest do it. The dual's have to be set @ a certain height and a certain pound over the nose of the valve.
