yeah I think FP makes a coupler for your turbo. But yea basically its made for a upgraded turbo but you can make it work with the right coupler.

I have a FP 4" intake that when I took my stock intake off I noticed the coupler is way bigger than my turbo. Is this made for an upgrade turbo, or can you get a coupler to ft???

Thanks

OMG i saw your other thread with the uicp, how new are you to dsm's????? on fp page it tells you that they sell a couplers for different size inlets. ta :talon: lon

Dont buy the coupler from FP . You can get a coupler from Homedepot for $5. You would have to shave a little of rubber off the inside on the Intake side but it fits perfect. I have one on my FP Big28.

I'm not new at all on dsm's. I've had this car for 6years. Anyways other than being rude, I've never messed with these upgrades before. I've always had a stock uicp and intake Also, it was just bad luck buying the part off ebay. I should have bought it from a shop and got a uicp from a more trusted name, and you can go on ebay where i bought the part and it says it comes with the type S which recirculates. They sent me the wrong bov that vents out. So I wasn't ready for this setup, but Greddy does sell a part to recirculate. So now I'm asking around. Also, I bought the intake off here and before I sent that thread I hadn't looked at Forced performace's website. all i was doing was trying to ask some help from people on here. I already looked on their site and found what I need. Sorry for making a mistake or actually for others making mistakes and me trying to fix them!

(Rant on)) This is the kind of shit why no one wants to make quality custom parts for DSM's anymore. You're looking at $45.00 shipped. Also your Home Depot part dosen't have the offset to clear the water pipe or j-pipe so I am sure it rubs. Also I am sure that is is not heat and oil resistant, so it probably won't seal and then you'll have to go buy another one in six to eight months. I understand saving money, but if we do not support our vendors they will go away.(rant off)

i wasn't being rude, just thought you were new to dsm's. i never buy things from ebay, you get what you pay for.

You can buy high quality reducer couplers on ebay believe it or not. I cant remember the vendors name, but I got a 2-2.5" reducer for my intake setup from them. They are actually higher quality than the FP couplers (I have the old FP 3" intake with FP couplers, (which are now falling apart).

just fyi: I have this intake and the coupler from FP. The thing is so huge it rubs on basically everything in the area. Make no mistake, even with the $35 coupler its very very tight. I still like it and don't regret buying it though, its a nice piece.
