How the hell are you guys drifting? I can drift the RWD cars okay, but I can't seem to go past 2 turns without it spinning the hell out. What are your set-ups like to be doing these drifts?

I've just been using a awd car. It's easier. I've practiced with rwd but I always spin it all the way around.

Throttle control, counter steer, and braking points, anything you would do in real life applies to the game. you can even clutch kick

If you check out Home Page | Forza Motorsport they have a bunch of forums dedicated to all sorts of stuff. There is an entire one for drifters cause those guys are all over the place. On the other hand, watched the preview for Forza 3 today.

There are forums dedicated to drifting on Forza, the settings you use are not like you would set them up for real world, unlike grip racing.





I have not been able to play Forza 2 since I deployed last yr... I had no idea they had added a Evo X... makes me wonder what I have been missing.

my drift tune is:
front tires psi 3/4 down
rear tires psi 3/4 up
i have springs and shocks stiff as they can get
car as low as it can get

say 3 class's 8 tracks DSM's or Mitsu's only? I just got my Xbox back from Iraq, but I have wireless DSL now so I have to wait until payday and get the damn wireless adapter to play live. But I would love to see this (can start a new thread if if need be) and maybe have a leader board of our own. Top 10 times w/DSM or Mitsu's on each track?
