Forged Piston Question

I just got a block built with wieseco forged pistons. When I turn the crank, the pistons hit tdc and then they rise a little bit more above the block surface. I am using the MLS mitsu headgasket. I dont know if thats the way forged internals are supposed to be and that is why they are called "forged" because they give you a little more upstroke compression or what.

How much is a "little bit"? Did you have the block decked? There's a spec for this so you better ask your machinist. Sorry, I can't find the measurement.

My Wiseco 9.0:1 / GVR4 2.0L don't come up above the top of the block and neither did my Ross 8.5:1 / Talon 2.0L block.
