fog light installation

i am doing the 96-97 bumper swap on my 96 GS and had a question about the fog lights

i have the oem 97 fog lights that came with mounting brackets but i just wanted to ask if they install in the same place as the 96 lights onto the frame.

i have a hahn FMIC which uses the fog light mounting holes so does anyone know if it will push the lights way out in front of the bumper like my 96 lights were

i had to take them off because it made the smiley grill look like it had buck teeth

97-99 and 95-96 have totaly different headlamp housings for the foglights. the 97-99 ones are actually in the bumper and 95-96 are on the outside of the bumper. You might have to re-wire the new set because the old sockets wont match up.

i got rid of my 96 lights when i put in my hahn FMIC
it looked like ass with the 96 fog lights being pushed out past the bumper by the ic spacers so i got rid of them and used after market
but now that i am doing the bumper swap i wanted it to look as oem as possible

i hope that the ic spacers dont push the 97 ones out that far
did anyone with the hahn fmic and stock 97+ fogs have any problems with the lights pushing way out when they put it all together
