I couldn't find this question involving a 1g, Its always 2g. How can I pull this off, I'm about to order a Short Route FMIC Kit... but haven't paid for it yet. I wanna keep my Fogs, and my AC...

**BTW, Not Automatic, just about to mod that to use as an Oil Cooler for now.

We've done it, real tight fit on my buddy's Laser since the bumper cover on the Lasers doesn't stick out as far as the Talon/Eclipse. You'll basically just have to locate the core forward enough to clear the hard lines that come out of the condenser. Then just cut out the holes next to the radiator for the pipes to pass through and tweak the lines to clear the pipes. You'll also have to trim the metal bumper which is normal even if you ditched AC.

I don't really see what keeping or removing the AC has to do with a FMIC.

See where the PS and AC and Oil Lines go through? Thats where the short route pipes go through.

Steve, So you think its possible, if the intercooler is just pushed out a inch or so further from the radiator support... and the lines bent out of the way...

I can never come up with the right things when I search for Intercooler Install Pics. I know my friend Benji put his short route FMIC all the way in... so he had to take the lines and ac condensor and that canister, out. I am a perfectionist so I can't have any room for error... I need it to be perfectly centered and level, or I'm going to always see it and get irritated.

Looks like the widest part of the hole is what has to be cut open... and thats the way to center it properly... And the bottom of the hole can hold the AC Lines...

I had it on my car for quite some time. Didn't have to do nothing special. Even the mounting holes on the two bottom mounting brackets of the FMIC, lined up with ones on the car. The only thing, I would really suggest is to put second fan in front of the AC condenser. You could tuck it nicely under that metal piece to the right of hoo latch/where the cable for opening the hood is/. Over there fits a a 10" slim fan... The rest is like Steve said.
