Ok my FMIC blew open on one of the welds about 8 inches long WTF and it was on the end tank anyone ever herd of this happening before. And can I just weld it or dose it have to be replaced I have never seen this or herd of this before It is not decomposing or pited or anything just cracked open I dont know why it did this eitheir? Any thoughts on what to do. :(

Yes this has happened to many people. All you have to do is simply reweld where it has cracked. If you have the welding capabilties then do it yourself but otherwise take it to a welder who is going to clean and acid wash the area properly first and then weld it up for you, ensuring no leaks.

Even though he is new, our friend here is dead on.

It ###### broke under stress whether it be boost, a bump in the road or you were manhandling it (but I doubt that).

What kind of intercooler was it, for references sake?

I dont know for sure because it was on the car when I bought it but it did have some numbers on top I will try to look them up when I get off work and try to find what kind it is. But thanks I could probably weld it good enough it may not be pretty but i could do it. But I think I would rather make sure so I am going to have it professionaly done if it dont cost to much.

Thanks,
Brandon

I am at work it happend late last night I could probably post pictures when it is fix. It is getting fixed today and show you where and how big the crack was.
