The new j-pipe for my punishment racing FMIC does not have a nipple on it where i connected my boost controller and solenoid. Where do i put that tube now instead? THANKS!

You could get one welded on it.

Some turbos have a nipple on the compressor housing too.

well that's weak. Does everyone have to do that? is there a way around doing this because i don't ever see pictures with people who don't have that nipple on there. Please help

That is the best way to do it.

You could always tap it yourself and use JB weld LOL

this still seems weird to me. why wouldn't they just make them with it already on there? i'm not doubting you i'm just sure there is another option to welding one on

IDK that would be a good idea for them to have an option for.

go to the home depot and get your self an 1/8 NPT barb fitting drill a hole , tap the hole, thread the fitting in it, then JBweld on the out side to seal it. works well for many people.

You can kinda see mine. I painted my J pipe with high temp paint so it didn't look so bad.

Many people running larger turbos with FMIC's and high boost run their boost controller off the throttle body, since after emissions is eliminated there's extra ports there. From what I've read on here, they like that location because the pressure and temperature are more consistent there than on the j-pipe.

so do i just take the open ended hose and T it into one of the emission hoses on top of my TB? And does anyone know which one is best? Should I use the one that I use for my boost gauge perhaps?
