Just to be clear, I'm not buying these from SSAUTO and reselling them. They are being aquired directly from the source (factory overseas) except for the fact that I get to customize the kit in order to get a better quality product. The cost does rise but in the end it benefits the consumer. For example, I didn't have the couplers changed from blue to black for looks, it's because they are better quality 3 ply fiber reinforced silicone material instead of the plain silicone couplers SSAUTO supplies you with and the t-bolt clamps are fully stainless steel opposed to the partially mild steel clamps they supply you with (weaker and WILL rust). The VR Speed kit uses aluminum piping which is MUCH better for heat dissapation (the main reason the intercooler cores are made of aluminum, will never rust) instead of the stainless steel (cheaper material due to high iron content and WILL rust with enough moisture). Our cost is also increased due to having each throttle body/bov flange machined opposed to where the ssauto's surfaces are almost always warped. I'm not trying to put the SSAUTO kit down but the kit sold on VRSF isn't an ssauto kit, it's a VRSF kit. I do not trade with ssauto nor do I purchase parts from them. In reality the SSAUTO kit is a poor AGP knock off with less couplers.

Aside from that stuff, the missing coupler that's supplied with the VR Speed kit is 5" long and solves 100% of the fitment issues people have when mounting the cores too low which has happened a lot in the past.

Of course you can pay an extra $15 bucks from ssauto and get a 2.5" coupler and 2 tbolt clamps but in reality you're purchasing more of the same stuff I made sure to avoid when I had these kits produced. The extra 5" long coupler is going to cost you at least $35 including shipping and a decent set of t-bolt clamps will run about $4 - $5 each so $13-$15 including shipping (assuming they are from different sources) which adds up to $50 alone on just those 3 parts. Now when you consider the fact that the VR Speed kit supplies you with better quality t-bolt clamps (10x), better quality couplers (5x), extra machine work, better quality piping and better quality piping mateiral, the extra $20 bucks doesn't look too bad. BTW these kits are $290 plus shipping. Shipping ranges from $16-$39 FULLY insured so you can't assume the kit is always $330.

I've personally installed half a dozen of these kits and had one on my previous talon so having first hand experience with the kit is usually helpful when people have installation questions/problems. I'm not sure if you've heard about ssauto's customer service but they literally have no customer service so if you have problems or something ends up defective/damaged you're on your own. They offer no warranty where the VR Speed kit offers a lifetime warranty and you get plenty of support . I'm not making a killing on these and to be honest with you I didn't even plan on placing another order of these kits but I had a few friends (2GAWD4U2NV) who wanted the same kit after they had personal experience with the kit.

Sorry for the long post :)

I did tell them the exact same thing. ( Better couplers. clamps, and ICP. ) Long post? I see it as being very informatitive and accurate, that's the kind of information that is supposed to be posted. No problem there.

I just want to spend 300.00 even with a good bov and all included for my 1g,maybe ill wait a lil more till someone has a special or a group buy!

I don't know man. That's gonna be pretty tough. If you get a good BOV (GReddy, HKS, Tial, etc.) , those babies are like $250 each. You can probably snag the FMIC for that if you scout out your options. Total for everything you will be lookin' somewhere between $415-$515. That's a real lenient price. Depends if you get the BOV new or used. :dsm:
