Fluid/water running w/ engine??

I used to start up my car , and i would hear a sound like running water when i pressed the gas. Now I hear alot. It sounds like I have indoor plumbing in my dash. I dont know what it is? Any help?

I have that! Not sure what it is- we'll see if it's still there after I replace my HEAD GASKET tomorrow (possible hint hint ) Otherwise I always hoped it was just a vacuum line or something rubbing against the hood liner..

THAT would make perfect sense.

Check the head gasket boys! Mines totally gone- pushed water to the tune of 1 gallon per 5 miles!

If it was the head gasket wouldnt I lose alot of coolant/water? Im kind of a newb, so I may be wrong. My car has always done it. I was just wondering what it was. AMybe if someone explained it more. Thanks for the help.

it could be just an air bubble that makes it's rounds... however my car was pushing water (just a little) for a couple months before it became noticable.

If you heater suddenly isn't hot... bet on it.

Turn the heater on, get the car hot, turn car off, fill coolant, turn car back on with heater on, turn car off, check coolant and fill, it has air bubbles in it.
