Ever since i installed a new fmic kit pipes and all, i have had an idle issue. On a cold start it will idle real low and lean and the vac. will slightly yet smoothly move up and down with the rpms and when i go to pull off reverse feels fine but 1st gear will sputter bad sometimes. Its making the car sound like i have bigger cams than are in it. If i hold the rpms at 2000 the fluctuating goes away. I found 2 leaks with a BLT and fixed one, the other is the TB shaft seal. Could the shaft seals leaking real bad cause this? Also once the car is fully warmed up it idles fine the rest of the day. Heres a video i got of it last night its not as bad at night as it is in the morning because the engine is usually still slightly warm feeling.

Well the problem is still here, i finally got a video of a cold start. It idles around 750, i have it set for 950. It stumbles and bogs under 1800 rpm. You can see in the video when i start to open the throttle the rpms drop first then pick up. The only thing i did was install a new FMIC kit. Any help would be great, Thanks.

Because when new intercoolers are constructed they need to be pressure tested to find the possible leaks or holes. I tested this one myself and found that it starts to leak at 5psi, So i think this one may have slipped under the radar. Also the thing causing the very lean condition was the crack i found in my turbo mani above the turbine wheel, it was sucking in air telling the ECU lean so the ECU said here's all the fuel i can give you and made the car undrivable. I unplugged my front O2/wideband and it drove a little rich and had a slight idle surge but was easily drivable.
