My first visit to track since my motor rebuild and turbo upgrade netted a best of 13.9 at 95 mph with a 2.2 60' on 18 inch Konig Verdicts. Keep in mind i am fwd 2g boosting 14lbs. I was trapping 100-101 all day but on this run i couldnt slip it into fourth which meant i coasted across the line. Needless to say that was my last run also since i didnt have a helmet. Would this fall within par?

My mods are as follows:

Built 7-bolt
EvoIII 16G - set at 14 lbs
2.5 ss downpipe and no cat
apex n1 exhaust
blitz bov
Dave Brode UIP
Walbro 255
Racing Akimoto Intake
STock SMIC
STock Clutch
 
a FULL mod list would be helpful. how built is your engine? why you only running 14psi on that built engine? what injectors you have? what fuel are you running?

I think most of all a full and detailed mod list would be helpful.

btw, it seems a little slow.
 
I am on stock injectors thats why i am not exceeding 14 lbs of boost. The fuel system is stock other than the fuel pump.

The bottom end is built with forged rods and pistons running 8.5:1 compression. The head has been reworked but still has stock cams. Exhaust manifold and O2 housing also remain stock and untouched. Stock intake manifold as well.

So my traps would be considered low running 14 lbs on the evo III? The reason the 13..9 trapped 95 mph was because i couldnt get into fourth gear. I would have atleast trapped 103 if it wasnt for me missing 4rth gear.

Edit: NM, just saw that it's a 2G FWD. We should get together sometime and shoot the shit, I've been wanting to ride in a "fast" eclipse, LOL. Trying to decide if I want to get a evo3 or a t28
 
yeah its not bad for only 14psi. i would get those injectors and up the boost to like 22-23 psi on a built 7 bolt. more if you are confident. keep us updated.
 
yeah but i trap 101 @ 15 psi on my small 16g no fuel mods aside from the AFPR and pump. He has a FWD he should trap a tad higher considering his car is alot lighter. Plus i need to get a downpipe . hehe :D course then again this was my best run out of constant 98-99 runs i made LOL
 
I would have trapped higher on that run. The slip indicated i was 1 mph faster at the 1/8th than my previous higher traps. Keep in mind also that I jumped on the track as soon as i got there. So my smic was pretty hot. The run that netted the 13.9 was made after the car cooled down for about 35 minutes. I would have to guestimate that if i hadnt have missed 4th gear i would have trapped atleast 103 and maybe a 13.7 - 13.8.
