First DSMLINK experience

I just got the bugs worked out of getting it connected to the laptop. I was doing the tuning on my 95 gst, the car has a 6 bolt, 16g, 3 turbo back, and boost controller. I ran 15 psi and did my first pull, and had about 15* peak timing, no knock. I kept advancing the timing a little at a time and got it to 23 degrees peak, it ran super smooth pulled awsome(for as little mods as the car has). I eventually got .4 deg of knock when it would first hit boost(spiking 17) so I richened it one on 3k, 3.5k, and 4k, got rid of the knock and the car ran like a champ.

I did not read to much about tuning before I started, just did everything how I thought was logical, please tell me if I am doing something wrong.

I dont use dsmlink but 23* of timing seems a little high on pump.You could probably turn the timing down and run a little more boost and make more power.
