First autox

There was a local club hosting a autox at the airport and I decided why not see what I could do. I hit lots of cones And dropped my times from 41 seconds to 37.35 clean. Best time was 36 DNF with 2 cones I moved the bases, and sometimes as long as it is in the chalk mark at all it is still good but they made this a real tight coarse. I was in 1st the whole time, and had a blast. I turned all my suspension to super soft on my coilovers and just gave it my best. Had fun.

Ah. Gotta love the tight courses. The SCCA chapter here in central PA makes some pretty tight courses too. They run 1 event every 3 months or so that's at an airport instead. I usually do much better three.

There was no classes that day, the miatas, prius, and caged vetts were all grouped together. That last sweep was always a stretch for the 2g turn radius, even busting a U-turn in a neighborhood intersection calls for a 3 point turn.

I have no idea what class I would fall under if we were classed.

I've been tepmted to try some autox, the airport Wes is talking about is about 15 minutes from my house. It's probably too late for this year though.
