Sorry about all that im kind of in a hurry today LOL. Thats why my grammer sucks and i edited my post with the picture cause it wasn't working right . Slow connection

If you like it then it don't matter what other people think.Plus your asking a bunch of people who obviously by most of the post on this site like to rag on people just cause they do something different with a car then most of them would.Either way i wouldn't do it myself, but if you like it go for it.

I think it looks pretty good i like your shift knob and the small amount of paint. Its nice to see another person from N.W.I.

How long did it take? Do you feel that it was worth it?
Edit:
Is the 2nd tach hooked up to anything?

it took me maybe 1 hour tops i havent clear coated yet so itll be like 2 hours total i feel it was worth it and a cheap answer to how i wanted my car . and the tach is actually mounted to my gauge pod and is full functional

I think if you also paint the plastic part of both the driver side and passenger's side door panels you will get a more complete feel inside. Im always up for a nice two tone color interior. Adds character.

Not a fan, but if you like it that's all that matters.

It's hard to really tweek the ALL GRAY interiors int he 2g without it looking cheesey or tacky. Esp if its the one without leather. Ive constantly tried to see what others have done to try and come up with a scheme myself.

The best possible is going with the all black interior, or if thats too hard, some subtle hints of dark overlays gives it a nice contrast. But any other glossy "color" over gray have not seem to work that well.

I think you're right, problem is grey doesn't match to well with colors except black.

Yea believe me I've looked for examples all over the gallery.

This is a nice clean looking interior, simple yet ads some character to the all grey bland interior..

Some might call the CF cheesy and tacky still. I tried to look for a solid black of the same, but no go. And come to think of it, the CF does ad to the smooth look because of how the weave characteristics are. It almost looks like a checkered black/silver effect which is why it looks so nice on that grey dash.

Ughh, I thought people stopped painting trim pieces 5 years ago. Not a good look my friend.

edit: whats up with your shifter lookes like its got a boner. (no ####) seriously is stock really that high?

Now that you have the car the way you like it, why don't you buy also a type R badge. No offense to anyone, but my personal opinion, is that this kind of examples is why, people keep calling us ricers.

well the way i see it is youre either one of two things .. youre a ricer/tuner or your a muscle car .. and from what i've gathered dsm's arent muscle cars. and Interior has nothing to do with how your car runs.. people who always jsut call you a ricer to try to make it offensive are idiots those are typically the people that drive some crappy car that couldnt beat a bone dry civic . Thats why i never really care if someone calls me a ricer LOL I usually take my car up to shows for the kick of it and thats whyi decided to get around to painting my interior it pretty much was the only thing left to do LOL :p

Even stock dsm's have 2 color tones. The lack of taste is what actually makes you a ricer. If you can back it up with power, then that's great, but the interior to me without that blue stuff, did look like a clean car. I know, this is personal preference, but when more than 1 agree, that it just does not look visually appealing, then there's something wrong about it.

most people prefer that stock look over something that stands out but thats what i like LOL and i got plenty of shit other than just a paint job and a body kit :p
