And here is the bottom duct.

Have you ever considered using 3m casting tape? You can make your template like the piece you have, or out of foam, wrap it a few layers, then use acetone to disolve the foam. Or cut it off the form, glue it together, then add a couple more layers of casting tape and resin the result.

Can be sanded and painted, and it's pretty dirt cheap.

Uuhm! No not really. I was looking for something like that but could not find anything. I will look in to it. Thank you.
 
I think so. I haven’t done any before and after intake temps but others have and have shown significant lower intake temps. I mean if you think about it, fresh air is coming in and hot air from the engine bay is being isolated. I would like to do some pulls with and with out to log differences. Thank you for the compliment.
