so after waiting 2 months, I finally got my block back. I am going to start putting her back togeather this weekend. my new setup will be- weisco 9to1 .020over pistons, eagle rods, kiggly main girdle, eagle crank, acl race bearings, arp main studs. the head will have manley valves and kiggly springs, hks 272 cams, fidanza cam gears. With a sbr intake manifold. i picked up a big H1c turbo to use with this setup. I have been waiting vary patiently for my block to get finished. i wanted to have it built and running before winter but it doesnt look like that will happen. i have only owned a dsm for around 6 months and i was already bite by the speed bug.

Good luck with the build, as I will be putting my block together this week as well:D

Thanks, i got started this weekend. i only got the crank and pistons in. I had to work on a few other cars this weekend, so i had a few set backs

I'm right there with you guys also. I will be getting my block back in the morning, and planning to put it together this week. However, my build is slightly milder. I'm going the 2.0, forged 10.5:1 pistons, and NOS route. I know that it is not the normal route that most people take, but I have always been the sneaky type of racer. I'm very good at hiding NOS systems, and this will be my best work yet. The stock 2.0 intake gives a wonderful place on the bottom of the intake to hide a port injection system. Sorry for jacking your thread, just excited to see others builds too.
