One question i ask is my new goal is 11.5 on a 95 fwd tsi auto can i pull it off on a 7bolt without the crankwalking

your question should be more of my goals are 11s in a fwd will a stock 7 bolt block hold up. I'm thinking your pushing it. What turbo do you have? have you picked one out? A 20g and cams may get you there. Don't worry about crankwalking. As long as i am still current on my info crankwalk has nothing to do with the power you are producing. My 7 bolt crankwalked on a 14b, and 140k miles. What is important is how was the block driven and how many miles are on it. I think you should reasearch some more on your suspension set-up and invest in some drag radials, cams and a 20g and you should definetly be able to secure 11s.

Drag radials or slicks are a must for a time like that on a FWD.

You have a lot of research and steps to take before you should think about running 11s.
The upgrade path and DIY sections on this site provide some great information about getting there. It isn't going to be a case where you slap on a big turbo, at slicks and make that 11.5 pass that you want. There is a large amount of work and knowledge that you need to acquire before you take on such a task.

As to the 7 bolt issue: Crankwalk is not something that you should worry about, since getting to an 11.5 time would require so much work and knowhow; that by the time that you get there, you should be pretty comfortable swapping/rebuilding an engine if yours walks on you. That is unless you plan on paying somebody to build your car to run 11s. If that is the case, then I hope you have a large bankroll.

No i will be doing everything myself just wasnt sure about the crank walk...now i know i have a long road ahead of me but i have to make a goal for myself or i will not acheive anything.. and i understand that slicks will def have to be used trying to run 11s but my question is will it happen on a auto tranny
