Filling coolent back up??

So how do you guys go about filling up your coolent after a fresh build, to make sure there is no air locks or such? And my bad if its been posted already, i couldnt find anything.

How I'd go about it: fill past the thermostat then bend the upper rad hose up and fill as much as you can.

Run the block to operating temp with the cap off. Keep adding coolant till its either A: overflowing or B: steaming out. When it starts to steam out of the cap, kill the motor and let it cool for a sec. Add more coolant, since the thermo should have opened, (you wont have to add as much if you followed the above) and add more.

At this point you want to let the air circulate out. Best advice I can give is to unscrew the cap a little bit and wrap a rag around it to catch the coolant coming out. This is called burping. Eventually you'll see just coolant coming out and no air or bubbles. Take her for a spin, let it cool down and see if you need to add some more.

NOTE: I'm sure you're smart enough to not get burned doing this, but I take no responsibility if you follow this and hurt yourself (aka at your own risk). Just be cool, let it cool down once you put the cap on and before messing with it. And fair warning, with that cap off on the initial circulation it can and will jump up and out with a good spurt of steam for air escaping, so dont stand right over it.

usually our cars does not need burping as the system will burp it self aster 3- 4 runs

anyway remove the cap and let the car reaches its normal operating tempretaure and add coolant until its full then press on the lower radiator hose for about 10 times or so to remove all the air out from the system , you will have a lot of coolant all around by doing that

once there is no bubles while you are pressing on the lower hose then you are good to go.
