Hey guys, just putting everything back together and I've had my belt on and off about 10-12 times now. For some reason the timing marks on the cams line up perfectly, but the mark on the crank is about one half tooth off either before or after TDC. If I set the crank @TDC the marks are a little off on the cams. I've checked out the Fidanza gears and the stock gears and noticed that the stock gears have the timing marks between the teeth, while the Fidanza ones are located at the bottom of the tooth and the top of the tooth. Since they aren't in the same spot as the stock ones this shouldn't present much of a problem should it? If I moved the timing marks from the top of the tooth and from the bottom of the tooth to the center between the teeth, it lines up perfectly...Anyone confused? Maybe I need some photos....

Just curious in case anyone has had this problem before, I tried calling Fidanza but I got a recording and was told to leave a message... still waiting for that call back :(

Ok, the timing marks that I talked about are off. If you buy Fidanza cam gears and the marks are on the teeth instead of between them, the correct timing will be - marks aligned, cam 1/2 tooth past TDC on the crank. This will make the cams look out when the crank is on TDC, but it should be correct. I just took mine out for a drive and it runs great!!

WTF??? Dude, they are not off, that is the way they should be.. Both pins should point up. The Exhaust side (I think) should be on the middle of the tooth. The intake side should be in-between the tooth. If you look at the stock cam gear that is the way they are too.
