does anyone know where i can get a fiberglass dash or do i need to make one or would it be easier to put some filler on my dash and paint it.

Well do NOT try to put filler over the dash and paint it. It will crack. You need fiberglass to adhere to the actual dash. The best bet would be to buy a spare dash and build on that. That way theres no downtime on your car and you can take your time. Rushing things like that isn't the best things to do.

Making a new one will be absolutely ridiculously difficult if you are starting from scratch. You'd need to find new mounting points, inserts, and even dimensions for making it fit. Fitment would be such a hard thing by itself.

There is a company that sells fiberglass dash's... but I do not know what it is, I had it saved in my favorites but I just redid windows and forgot about saving them all. Sometimes you can find one or two on ebay.
