Ok I did alot of research on looking for a back seat speed cover( tonneau cover) for my 98 Spyder and didn't find anything but one kind, and I didn't like it, so I decided to make one on my own. I have a few years of experience in fiberglassing and doin custom body work so I have a idea of what I'm going to do. I'm starting by cutting out a base to cover the whole back seat, but I was wondering what would be a good way to form the hatchback part that is behind the headrest. My first idea is making a wood skelton and wrapping it in cloth then laying the resin then molding it to the base or my second idea was to use Great Sfuff ( the can foam stuff) and cutting and forming it that way then laying my resin over it..What do you guys think?? Will resin work with the great stuff foam or will it eat it away? And can I use other kinds of cloth besides fiberglass cloth?? Any ideas or input would be great thanks!!
