Females that drive turbo dsms?

I've noticed a lot on here today how hard it is to detect subtleties and sarcasm on a message-board. Two or three real-live ladies registered in, and all the guys ignored them. Were 16G1G4G63Talon and misphit really being serious? This is funny stuff.

My brother's fiance/common-law-wife is a total gearhead. She's got a boosted miata, a late-model M5, a couple other BMW projects, and those are just HER cars. If she weren't there, my Bro wouldn't be able to work on any cars. He'd just break them and hurt himself. All they do is watch Speed, work on cars, watch Top-Gear, go to the track, and work.

I should try to innoculate them with the DSM-bug.

If I had a DSM lady, she better have a job, because my car comes first.

I personally am not impressed just because someone is female and has a DSM and can put a bolt-on part on. I am impressed when someone is a DSMer, male or female, and isn't afraid to push the limit and try new things.

An idiot once said to me, "Meat (my nick name amongst friends), stop trying to reinvent the wheel." To that I say the person, male or female who says in unison with me, "You don't have to reinvent the wheel to make it forged magnesium and 15 lbs lighter," is the person who impresses me. Be a female and also follow this philosophy, then I am impressed and would care.

I suggest the rest of you take off your blinders and view it this way as well. As for DSM Purity, good people, don't trash talk them, just realize it's not as much of a knowledgeable community as it is a group of friends who share a hobby.

16G1G4G63Talon is hilarious, there are tons of females on this site including myself and I have been on here forever. I have a heavily modified GS-T Spyder and I've had it since it was bone stock. My dad raced cars when I was little and I have been interested in it since as long as I can remember. I consistantly suprise local mechanics that are impressed with my extensive knowledge of my car. Don't judge just because we have boobies.
