Febuary DSM meet for the bay

The majority of the meets have been way out of the way for me. I already get bad gas mileage as it is. This is why I don't say I'm going.

This is why we need a meet in the South Bay

Im reppin san jo now, so lets set up a meet in san jo preferrably in the evening. Im not really sure what a good location is but if you guys got anything in mind lets do it!

Reason why i didnt go was cuz the bad weather and need new tires

MAN! I went to the bay dsm meet on the 19th and sadly I was disappointed that I saw no one there I think we should start meeting up like every week instead of like every few months or what not because these meets that we have every couple of months never go down and if we just start meeting up like every week or every 2 weeks people would actually have time to meet up. Im willing to meet up with anyone who wants to meet up any weekend or friday nights just tell me and im there. I just really wanna have a dope meet in the bay area cause were making bay area dsm's look bad cause we rarely have any meets. PLEASE someone plan a meet soon!!!

A lot of other forums and car clubs have their weekly meets at the starbucks at Lawrence and El camino. It's got a huge parking lot and it's right between 280 and 101. That seems like as good a place as any for weekly meets if anyone is seriously interested.

What city is lawrence and El camino in? Im down to meet up if it's not too FAR, and if other people are down to meet up too. Does anyone else have any other suggestions besides this one, or any comments about this idea? If anyone just wants to meet up any weekend im cool with that too I just wanna meet up with other DSM's.

ill be having a weekly meet at infeneon raceway (Sears Point) to do what i love to do best in my dsm... smack on people in 1/4 mi races.... most of you will probably beat me b/c my car is slow right now (10 psi slow) but if anyone wants to come kick it at the track for wednesday night drags drop me a pm to see if im going and ill probably go... we can watch people and laugh at em and race...i should be up there with a few other dsm's... let me know what people want to do

would rather wait for sac raceway test/tune or grudgefest's. Wed. night drags at sears is ####ing ricer heaven a bunch of single cam, fart can weilding, trance listening douch bags who do burnouts at the staging lanes or in the water box destroying what little help the vht gives you on street tires and running 17's all night. Go to sat/wed at sac way better, real cars, cool people and the little amount of import people all seem to know what they are talking about.

hey zach!!! thats why i said laugh at people.... most of the honda's at infineon will jock any turbo car that is there and will believe anything you say... good inside jokes can be made... i dont know about sac... ive never been to test and tune and im not all that enthusiastic about driving my car to sac (90-120 min drive :thumbdown ) just to race it and beat it up and then drive it all the way home... infineon is like a 30 min strike from san francisco if you dont hit traffic and if you are gonna get there when it opens then you wont hit traffic.... and i know sac is a better track all around... but infineon is a little more convienent and im pretty much just throwin it out there that im gonna be up there a lot this season probably with a few other dsm's each time if anyone wants to join me/us pm me or post ... i usually talk to any dsm'r thats up there anyways but it'd be nice to talk with some people that i post with on tuners....
anyways hope to see ya at the track...
a weekly meet would be nice... i dont think i would make it every week but it would be a nice option... just need to post when/where and maybe directions if its cutty somewhere

What's up Danny! This is Rey, the guy that bought the seats from your laser. What's up fellow Bay Area DSMers . I'm pretty much a newbie, but wanted to start posting a little more here on the boards. I've never been to a meet before, but I can't wait for the next one. Hopefully I'll have a new ecu by then. It just fried a few days ago while pulling out of the garage, and it was an EPROM! So right now, my talon is down.

This is comming from "once upon a time SAC-eon" like i just moved fromthere two months ago. in with Zach on that one it is cool!!! And i drive from sunnyvale to sac at least twice a month its not that bad and i know all the short-cuts to make the trip a gauranteed 90 min. But beyond that and more importantly, with turbo cars tuning is everything and at test and tune its a great opportunity to either tune your car for the track or for the freeway. its going to at least once. Peace!!!

hey wassup? i live in sunnyvale and i would love to have a local meet. i do believe that a consistant local meet would build strength in our group and DSMers so lets do it. if there not ten willing we don't even need ten im down to role with five. Anything to get it going. plus i got questions about my car and all that. so lets do it! i think that distance is an issue but we can start our own little clubs in our own cities and then our cities meet up to form the bay meets. Ya know? Hey mahesh! remember me, Dorene from Pittsburg, the girl with the teal talon that argued about a 13 mm wrench...haha . i left you a message on aim a few weeks ago, sorry i left before you could reply, i was at my parents with limited time on the internet, got it hooked up at my house now so i'll be on more now. I had to change my account on here because i can't remember my old password to that one, or the email attached to it since it's been so long.

Anyways, I know it might be a stretch for people, but i was thinking that we could have a wrench day at my house in Pittsburg, like how mahesh was talking about helping with timing belt jobs and whatever else. I've got room for 2 cars in the garage, and 4 on the driveway, (6 if we park partially on the non-existant grass). maybe when the whether clears a little more, we can pitch in and have a bbq and work on our cars, and if you get tired i've got a 62", with satallite, PS2, and a pool table. I'm willing to open my house to you guys if you think this would be a good idea.

oh im down to go to a test and tune once or twice depending on the mods i get and when i get them , but im just saying its not an every week thing for me.... id rather go to infineon since its closer and easier for me.... but im definately down to strike to sac once in a while... ill just be at sears more often.... invite still open.... if it doesnt rain this week hopefully ill be up there for opening day...
