Damn Gotta Love my Dipstick and Dented up Oil Filter -its eather Dent up the oil filter or drop the downpipe everytime i change the Oil.

...or use an EVO oil filter from mitsubishi. It's shorter (and wider) than the 2G filter. I had to switch when I put on my 3" O2 housing and downpipe.

On a side note, the new Evo filters from Mitsubishi are shorter, and smaller diameter opening. They have a new blue bypass valve to keep the dirty oil from draining back into the engine when you shut off.

I have one in my car right now, WAY smaller then that K&N you're running, After a couple thousand miles, my oil is still pretty clean.

Yup thats mine. that is a K&N oil filer for a EVO btw.
 
I was gonna come after I pole vaulted, but 1: I forgot and wouldn't have gone anyways, and 2: It rained so I didn't go vaulting.

looks like a good number of people came out. My dsm is still down, but I will be getting a larger turbo soon (planning to buy the parts at the end of march.) I'll try and make it out there next time.

Well, Zane I have a solution for you. Get an "Oil Filter Relocation Kit" and that way you can run a bigger oil filter and not have to drop your exhaust anymore.

It just spins even with LSD :/ I hate wrong wheel drive. But on the freeway it gets going.
 
Yeah, the cams is what made the sound more agressive plus the VRS Exhaust, my Apexi N1 ever sounded as good so +1 on VRS Exhaust. It was very fun meeting all ya Lets set up a nother meet lets have a BBQ ect.. day in 2 months or so? find a nice park and take some pic and crap? And lets see hwo the New DSM'er does with the free mods :p
 
how much are you putting down on the wheels? LSD is not worth the buck than?

Like I said I had about 9 turbos in the 8 years sence I've owned the car the max was ###### sub 400ish with the FP58 from Forced Proformance(awesome turbo). The Evo16G (yes I've had 2) Seems to get around 380-420ish aswell reading about 42-46lbs at 22-25Psi. the Bullseye 57trim seems below the evo16g not as strong but i dono It blew after about 1month of owning it :/ the 14b (which is what I have on now) Seems to be a killer also. Raced my buddies Brand New 335i Twin Turbo and beat him ugly.:thumb: I'm running 18 psi on the 14b but hitting fuel cut cuase i threw the 450s back in due to smog.WTF

Out of the 9 turbos I used for street driving the Evo16G is the Best, although the FP58 was one big mofo(shredded 4th gear on the stock tranny).:tease:

14b yes! That is going to be my future set up; im on a budget :p

Good luck getting close to 4"s with the Evo 16g on a dsm. The most efficient turbo for 91 octane for your car will be any 50 trim. 57 trim is the worst turbo ever made next to the 14b and t25.

The race with the 335i must have been driver error. I am sorry but no 14b will keep up with that when you put similar skilled drivers.

You don't understand, that 14B is a bad asz turbo. Matched together nicely with a few other mods, that 335i doesn't stand a chance. You don't need a huge turbo go fast. A small turbo paired with a few good mods will be more then plenty to spank a lot of cars out there on the street.

The 14b has gone 11's in the 1/4. You have a gt30r, aem ems, 1000cc injectors, a built engine, and a bunch of other mods and you're in the 11.5s............I'd expect you to be deep in the 10's with that mod list.

A turbo will be my last mod, not one of the 1st ones in my car. I'm taking my 14b to its full potential before I upgrade.

When you say "400ish" and "380-420ish", what are you refering to? And when you say reading about 42-46lbs at 22-25psi... what does that mean? Im just curious
