Hi all,I've a 1996 galant 4g64 with 4g63 head fully built and using a gt35 turbo hybrid.
My car has a F5M31 gearbox, and I wanted to reach about 500whp with this car.
I wanted to go to the track with the car, using semi slicks also.
I was thinking to weld the diff.
What do you guys think, will it hold??

Old thread. but to answer for those who have a similar question its not the differential that you have to worry about its the weak 3rd and 4th gears that will break first. I know I have busted two transmissions already:ohdamn:
