How is the undercarriage rust? Could you please post some of those photos?

Radiator support seems to be the first to go .

its not that bad, normal rust for a 97 no holes or metal falling off.

Yikes, fairly big difference from the top to bottom there. The paint sure looks great. I'm guessing the car has been sitting outside with a good car cover over it? Still, not terrible. But the mileage sure doesn't reflect the wear that car has seen. GLWS.

I dont know to me the rust is not that bad its a 15 year old car and that spent most of its time in New hampshire where the weather isnt the best all year round... and the previouse owner had the car most of the time in a barn with a cover... thats how i found her cover next to other classic cars they had.

thanks for the offer but I would pass on it.

the rust is on bolts, metal washers stuff that can be change easy and that would happen over the years... its not like the frame is rusted and falling apart and that it needs work. but every one has there on oipinion... and it sucks I live in the north east where most of the old cars are like this...

True that. My '97 GSX with 68K on the clock has about the same amount and it spent a good portion of it's life driven in the salt belt of Western PA. Paid $2800 for the car with a bad trans- I'll have less than $4500 in a completed car with minor mods when it's all said and done.

Charles, would you like to post some pics of your car's undercarriage so we can get an idea of how a low-mileage, well-kept 2G should look?
