So somewhere along the way of doing my fmic install, I unhooked the vacuum line that suppose to connect to the external wastegate. I know it connects to the external on one end, I just don't know where the other side connects to. I don't have a mbc, does it go to the turbo? If so, where? any pics?

It would be best to connect that port to the nearest pressure source. That would probably be the compressor housing or the lower intercooler pipe.

Some people also even 'T' them off of the BOV line. Though that is not the optimal source, yours may be set up like that.

Since you have a 16g then there isn't any port on the compressor housing, so either it goes to a nipple on your lower intercooler pipe or it was t'ed into your bov line.
If I were you I'd move it to the licp. If theres not a nipple its not hard to tap it.

It could go to the compressor cover, intake manifold, or t'd to another line. Your going to have to check all the vacuum lines and spots that can see boost to find out.

Why don't you eliminate all the vacuum lines you don't need(emissions) and put all the ones you do need(fpr, boost gauge, wastegate) on the intake manifold.

Well it's either that or the LICP which I don't have a nipple to attach to.
So, grab a drill, a tap, and an 1/8" NPT vac. fitting. You can even tap the compressor cover if you'd rather not put it in the LICP.

I agree with snowborder714, t-ing into the BOV line is not an ammended move.

Why is this?

I would suggest getting a MBC as well.
I have a DBC, but I haven't got around to installing it yet, because there's a lot of work involved.
