Exterior trim clips 1g talon

I have been searching and still havent found any real good answer. Im looking for the clips that pop the trim pieces on the outside of the doors and behind on the quarter panel. Mine are all broken and am getting my car painted soon and need to replace all of them. If anyone has any idea where to get them please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Well when I got my door repainted I went to Autozone and got the closest I could find. So I would first try an auto part store like that. Otherwise as a last resort you could go to a Mitsu dealership and have them look up the pieces and buy em there or at least you will have a parts number. hope this helps

Yea i have went to autozone and seen some that are close. I will probably just go with those. Because i have been searching everywhere for them. I just wasnt sure if there was a place online that have the same ones. But thank you for the quick response.

The paint shop should be able to order some that are a good aftermarket replacement.

I had the same issue when I paint my 93 talon 2 years ago. Impossible to find those clips. Mitsu dealer don't sell them alone, you can get them if you buy the molding panels but it's like 1500 $ for all panels. I glued my panels with 2 side tape but it's not as good as factory metal clips. I think it's the only way to install them : tape, silicone, windshield urethane maybe.

I am in the same boat. I tried several different types of the plastic clips. None of which held the pannel in place. They were either too long or too fat. I went to carquest and they are ordering some we found in the book that are very similar.

Thanks everyone for the help. I just wish there was a place that had some that are OEM. But if i do find any anywhere i will be letting you guys know!
