Exhaust Question

i've got a 92 Laser and i am planning on getting a 3" exhaust very soon but i was wondering if i also NEED to upgrade the headers.

Do ypo mean tubular headers or stock cast iron? If cast iron you don't need to but EVO ported or the new Slow Boy casting would be a nice addition. Mark

turbo cars dont have headers they have manifolds. You dont have to upgrade your stock mainfold if you don't want or you could go with a ported 2G manifold it depends on what you want to spend.

I just Hogged out my 2G manifold and man their is sooo much more exhaust flow to the turbo. I would venture to say it's like 50% more flow as I took about a 1/2 inch out of the exit not including the step. It's matched perfect with my Heavily ported Big16G. I haven't installed it yet but just doing that and port matching it to your head would be the best thing you can do. No need to waste money on a tubler manifold unless you have a monster turbo that can benifit from the increased port volume and flow.
