Exhaust Q??????

I've been looking for an exhaust on Ebay for my 99 Eclipse RS...I came across an exhaust called OBX it's about $300, but never heard of that brand....What do you guys think about it, being that this is my first DSM...What kind of Exhaust should i go with there's a lot of them out there, what's my best bet????

OBX is a middle quality exhaust, not the best, not the worst. You will pay more for the better exhaust. Your best bet is to find a good exhaust used and in good condition. If you can't find that then buy what your money will allow.

Megan Racing has a nice N/T cat back.. even a removable silencer. i think its a little bit more, but its worth it.

I'm also looking for a good sounding exhaust....because some sound like you're going 100mph when you're actually going 25mph

Go with vendor that 93 tsi fwd posted. I bought my 3in catback from them and I was very satisfied, it bolted up perfect lined up and everything. Cant tell you how yours will sound because mine is turbo and 3in but its nice and deep doesnt sound like an annoying Honduh fart can.

Stay away from Greddy, they make a great exhaust but loud. If you want good clean sound for a cheap buy your best bang for your buck is Megan. Now I know some of you are saying Megan?!! Yes, Megan they have come along way in the past couple of years. OBX is decent but the exhaust is going to be loud.

i bought a p.i.t. n1 catback exhaust system off ebay for $130. bolted right on no problems. same exhaust advirtised here on dsmtuners for $600. sounds great and its not loud its acually more quiet than my stock exhaust was. and i have headers with a high flow cat.

One of my friends said that i should just go with a Skunk2 muffler and then get a different piping....is this a good idea or am i going to screw it all up by doing that???

It is usually cheaper if you buy a whole cat back depending on where you go.

I just got my Greddy SP2 from gripmotorsports.com for $305 shipped. That's like they are practically giving these things away. Here is the link.

I bought an OBX header for my old n/t 1g and bolted it up to the stock exhaust and it was the smoothest thing ever, quality is pretty good compared to most other brands. The only thing i didnt like was when i had a 2 1/2 inch cat back made for it the exhaust was really loud...

Ebay has a whole lot of good exhaust systems. I've been reading that they flow good and are priced pretty fair or even cheap!
