Exhaust manifold gasket leak?

Just trying to confirm my suspicion. I have a couple videos trying to pinpoint exactly whats happening. I went looking for an exhaust leak because i can smell fumes when driving with the windows open FYI.

Does this sound like gasket leak "ticking"? Its hard to hear but it sounds like two marbles hitting each other at like 4bps.

This video shows a lot of gunk around the exhaust manifold, not positive its from the gasket but maybe someone will tell me what its from.

Im kind of confused on the whole stud thing.. Is the manifold attached to the head by the studs and then the bolts go over the studs or something? If someone could find like a diagram or something for me so i can better understand what parts are actually being removed I'd really appreciate it. Ive looked online and the closest i found to a diagram was the vfaq manifold porting writeup

In the first picture are those all the bolts i need to remove to completely remove the exhaust manifold?

The studs are threaded into the head, the manifold slides over the studs, than washers and nuts to on the studs to hold the manifold to the head.

Ok so after all the bolts are off the manifold literally just slides off, thats what i thought. Thanks for clarifying.
