Exhaust, bolt together or weld?

I just received my RNR TB 3" SS exhaust and it doesn't come with flanges. Has anybody just slipped it together and welded they're connections or is it a better idea to use some clamps to bolt the exhaust together. Thanks.

Hey just installed mine last nite, doesn't fit goot at all. the straight pipe does not slip onto the muffler pipe, slides over mabey 2 cm, So i can't clamp it on. I am looking for a 1 inch extension of 3 over and 3 over over which i think will be hard to find. So i might just weld it together but besides that the Downpipe fit well to the straight pipe, and it sounds good w/out a muffler

yeah, my muffler pipe to straight pipe seems a little tight. It should slip on with a little bit of oil or something though. I'm not putting it on right yet considering I'm rebuilding my head and that's more important. Let me know how yours goes.
