Sorry if the has already been asked, but ive searched and cant find anything. Well I just got my evoscan cable in the mail today form DSMChips and now after installing v2.7 I cant get it to connect. Here is the error I am getting.

"FTDI USB drivers are not installed, Install Ecuflash from Evoscan.org or click yes to install the USB driver now...
c:\Program Files\Evoscan\Evoscan v2.7\USB Drivers\x64\Dpinst.exe
If you still have problems, Ensure FTD2XX.dll is in Windows System32 Floder
Would you like to install FTDI now? YES or No"

Ok i have copied and pasted FTD2XX.dll file into my system32 folder and still nothing. Why would i need to install ECUFlash if im only useing Evoscan to log and not to tune? Also when asked to install FTDI i say yes, this window pops up and says everything was installed ok. Any help would be amazing, I really excited to start logging. Thanks guys and sorry for a long post.

ecu flash comes with the cable drivers. I had a HUGE issue with this. Which cable are you using?

Yea i have that one now. Jeff sent me that one after ordering the tactrix 1.3 cable and having issues with it. Just download ecu flash 2.6, install it and it will install all of the drivers once you tell it to install the cable drivers. IDK which version of windows you have but mine when i plugged it in it came up with a driver prompt for the drivers. I just had windows scan and install the drivers. Youll be set to go. I use this in my 97 galant. Evoscan has some bugs that need to be worked out if you ask me but it works fine once u get used to it freezing, shutting down, not reading your DTC codes and not connecting to your ECU every time you want it to. Good luck.

Yea just follow all of the on screen instructions. Youll do fine. If you have any other issues ask jeff at DSM chips. That guy is awesome! He has the best customer service and support than any other person ive dealt with.

I'm having the same problem, except I'm using windows 7 /w tactrix OP 2.0, I hit "yes" and nothing happens, I was sure not to install the ecuflash/evoscan in the program files folder. I added the dll file in my win32, nothing, I went to evoscans website and dled the ecuflash prog, with the tactrix 2.0 driver, nothing, theres even the 2.0 drivers in evoscans usb drivers folder. what am I doing wrong?
