I've been trying to log my car using EvoScan. I can view the log but can not save it. This makes it hard to try and drive and see it. Does anyone use this with Windows 7? I'm wondering if that is my problem.
Thanks.

OK, I read the whole page listed above... I don't see anything about issues with windows 7, am I missing something.

If I'm not mistaken 7 limits where programs can write files, similar to vista. Where is evoscan installed on your hdd, perhaps you could move it to a public folder? I'm still waiting for my install cd for 7 to come in for my laptop so I hope this gets resolved before I upgrade. You could always open a support ticket at evoscan's site they've been very helpful to me in the past. Let us know what solves the problem when you get it resolved.

After some more reading it looks like it might be my laptop going into power saver mode but I'm still not sure. I looked in the log folder and only see the sample logs. Where do I allow it to save to the computer? I have log data to file checked in the logging drop down. If this snow would melt up here I could try it again with the power saver off and see...

maybe u redirected data log for diferent folder ?
try maked folder on u desktop and redirect save data to this folder or u have
hidden files and folder for check this go to Tools>Folder Options>"View" Tab>Fill dot next to "Show Hidden Files and Folders" Click "OK" to save

I just figured out how to do this myself as I was having the same issue. All you have to do is click Playback Log, when the window pops up to choose the log to replay right click on the file, go to Send To and click Desktop. This will create a shortcut on the desktop to the log file and you can then open it in Microsoft Office or whatever program you may use.
