EvoIII Psi?

Hey Guys,
I have some questions about the EVOIIIb16G... how much PSI can you run on them? and how much is save for my settings:

GS-T Standart Stock, exept Fuelpump (255), MBC, and 1G BoV??? thats it right now... :)

i wouldnt be thinking about a turbo yet you still need ALOT of supporting mod:

1. boost & EGT gauge
2. if your not going to go bigger than a 16G a 2.5" downpipe going into a full 3" cat back.
3. intercooler pipes
4. intake w/ open filter
5. BPR7ES w/ magncor 8.5mm wires
6. 550cc injectors
7. A/F controller

if you get these first then the turbo you can boost a safe 16-18psi w/o any fuel cut

then get a FMIC to get rid of heat soak and turn up to a 20psi max
 
I dont want to turn the boost up yet. I have a bad turbo also. I will get a large front mount with a big 16 and leave it at stock boost until I save enough for all the other stuff. Will this be a safe solution?
 
I will have it tuned immediatly after the install. I dont want to be puttin around not knowing what is going on with the car. What kind of bad stuff were you talking about? Running too rich?
 
Got the open filter+intake, piping, sparkplugs, BoostGauge. Next week I"m gonna buy wires, and I have to save for the AF controller first, plus My mechanic and I gonna buy a nice pipe bender, so catback and downpipe are comming too... :) ++ when I install the turbo, I'm gonna tune it on a dyno... the turbo has to arrive first though...(cant wait... :D)

On what octane are we talking here?
 
I just wanna know for now, how much PSI I can run with it, savely yet powerfull enough to kick a$$ nicely... :D :dsm:

"how much psi" is a terrible question.

i guess the best answer to the question is, however high you can get it without knocking too much.

That's about the best answer you're going to get. Hence why a datalogging tool is essential.
 
With 550's and EVOIII at 18psi my injector D/C is 93% or so at redline so with 440's less than 18psi.
 
Thanks, less than 18 sound good... ! I just asked because next week we have tunerbash here, in Daytona Beach, and there will be a hell lot of Hondas, I just wanne kill... ^^ had a 240sx befor... got killed by one V-Tec... now i will see him again... and it WILL be differend :p :dsm: kick's a$$

Specify which octane.. There will be different results based on 93 octane and race gas. You can obviously run higher boost on c16 with less knock then on standard 93 octane pump gas.

Are you asking about pump or on race? If your asking about both you're going to be getting a pretty broad answer like 18-25psi (possibly more)..
