That does not look like a genuine evo III to me, so I am going to have to say no that is not a good deal for a turbo that could last only a few miles. I would do a search for ebay turbos or ebay 16gs and read reviews and make your own call on that one. Personally, I'd pass.

Edit: Doing a quick search on 2 sites (won't name them) I see brand new/nearly brand new genuine MHI EVO 3 big 16g's going for 400+ so 235 reassures me even more this turbo isn't genuine.

Its not a bad price for it being an ebay turbo, but most will tell to stay away from those and go with MHI turbo's (oem turbo's), a brand new MHI Evo 3 16g will run you about $600 and another $100-$200 for the "install kit" depending if you piece it together yourself or if you just buy one of the many kits made available for 14b/16g installs so about $750ish for legit stuff or $350ish for ebay junk....

Let me put it simple for you,
You can only choose 2: "Cheap, Reliable, Fast" :D

Goodluck to you

ok so i just ordered the real deal from streettunedmotorsports but what about this header ? eclipse 1g 2g dsm talon 4g63 t 16g 14b turbo manifold : eBay Motors (item 350325053242 end time Mar-12-10 17:00:24 PST) ?

You get what you pay for bottom line.
I would not trust an ebay manifold as I've heard too many horror stories about them cracking and you pop your hood to find your turbo supported by the oil cooler lines and downpipe.

Get a forced performance manifold and be done with it.

craigslist is a great place to find 16g's.

maybe even a guy selling his dsm with a 16g will take cash plus your turbo.
just a thought.
